About this artwork
I painted this watercolor, an impressionistic still life, in bright blues and yellows to convey a serene atmosphere that perfectly matched my mood during my trip through Southern Europe. I painted it with great joy, spontaneously and quickly, using free, flowing brushstrokes to suggest dynamic movement and lightness.
