About this artwork
I painted my artwork using a loose, flowing watercolor technique typical of the medium. The colors blend gently into one another, giving the blossoms an ethereal and blurred quality. The composition is designed so that the eye is drawn from the light area at the top to the darker, more detailed areas in the lower right. A suggested bud stem in the center helps to direct the eye to the focal point of the color.
The blend of representational and abstract… elements leaves room for emotions and imagination. My work brings vibrancy and gentle elegance to any room, filling it with warmth and the magic of spring.
