About this artwork
"Where Has Peace Gone?" is one of my haunting acrylic paintings, depicting the heartbreaking reality of war through the eyes of a child. A boy gazes into the distance with a mixture of hope and despair, his hands cupped like binoculars over his eyes, as if searching for something once taken for granted: peace!
With every brushstroke I wanted to convey a deep emotional message.
The image is a silent cry for humanity and a memorial to the victims… of conflict. It invites the viewer to reflect on the fragility of peace and to join in the question: "Where has peace gone?"
