About this artwork
With this artwork, I tried to give the old boat a "soul"... the boat as a vessel of emotions and stories. For me, this boat is a silent witness to storms and times of calm.
The boat has either fulfilled its purpose or lost it, and now it rests. It lies abandoned on the sand, its dark, earthy color contrasting with the light sand, emphasizing its weight and history.
The wood has stories that the sand swallows up....
Now it rests, a shadow, oppressed… by wind and wave.
This image brings a profound, calming energy to any room – it invites reflection and dreaming.

Born in Banat (Romania), I graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Timisoara. Following this, I completed a three-year apprenticeship as a makeup artist and wigmaker at the State Opera. Simultaneously, I studied languages and graduated with a diploma in philology.
