About this artwork
With this artwork, I tried to give the old boat a "soul"... the boat as a vessel of emotions and stories. For me, this boat is a silent witness to storms and times of calm.
The boat has either fulfilled its purpose or lost it, and now it rests. It lies abandoned on the sand, its dark, earthy color contrasting with the light sand, emphasizing its weight and history.
This image brings a profound, calming energy to any room – it invites reflection… and dreaming.
This artwork was part of the "Trofeo delle Arti Creative" project.
– New York and was exhibited at the Effetto Arte Fondation booth at Artexpo New York from April 9th to 12th, 2026. It was awarded the prize: “Trofeo delle Arti Creative a New York”.
