"50 Shades of Blue"
For those who haven't seen 50 Shades of Gray, the title of this work might seem enigmatic... or even misleading! But for those who know it, you'll understand the allusion, and the slightly mischievous play on words that inspired me. Here, there's no sultry romance, but an equally intense story, told through variations of blue.
This painting is my exploration of this infinite color, its almost mystical depth. I wanted to capture… every nuance, every vibration that runs through it.
The alcohol paint shimmers gently in the light, like a starry sea or a night sky filled with promise. The gold flakes blend together to create plays of light, changing reflections that bring this blue to life, breathing life into it, giving it a soul.
