There are landscapes that leave a lasting impression on us, even without ever having set foot on them. "Out of Africa" is a vision, an incandescent dream where light and earth respond to each other in burning harmony.
I let the alcohol paints blend, slide, as if guided by their own will. The deep brown speaks of the strength of the earth, of ancient roots, of the shadows enveloping the horizon. The ochre and gold rise like a sun… that sets everything ablaze in its path, illuminating the contours of a wild, untamed world.
This painting is not a place: it's an emotion. An invitation to travel to where the mind escapes and the heart opens. An encounter between warming light and protective shadows, like an imaginary memory of a distant and eternal land.
