About this artwork
Soda cans are miniature… masterpieces, carefully designed and manufactured in their millions to contain some form of sugary liquid and disposed of in a heartbeat. The beauty of their art however, is barely registered, so like flowers or melting ice have short lifespans. Reconfiguring them into a mesh leaves familiar elements of the original artworks. This also gives the piece many levels, from an abstract wall piece to a close up explosion of detail.
