About this artwork
This painting of a Native American in full headdress and face paint, sitting on top of his horse set against an illustrative take on the American West is my expression of the juxtaposition between realism and fantasy. I have been fascinated with the Western landscape since moving to Colorado in 2015 and believe that is important to promote and acknowledge different cultures and traditions through my creative process.
