I saw these dogs in the city. Outside the door of a shop.
When I took a picture, the Italian greyhound lifted his paw.
They were adorable.
The warm colour of the greyhound is in the centre of attention. It glows in the surroundings of grey colours and the little grey dog is looking for comfort with his friend.

Dutch artist Jonker Mieke started her creative career as a goldsmith, but was inspired to start painting after viewing Rembrandt's portrait of Haesje van Cleyburgh. Mieke's exquisite portraits and interiors are created to give the viewer a good feeling, and this sentiment shines through her work, which is impressive yet intimate. She uses various transparent oil paints to produce her pieces, with a strong composition and complementary use of color. This creates artworks that are dynamic and yet serene.
