About this artwork
In these paintings it was a matter of trying to find images that would evoke unexpected situations captured in an instant but that remain in our retina for a long time. They are visual poems that like a mantra are retained because they are part of our unconscious. But like Haiku they contain a surprising and decontextualized ending to produce an emotional shock that abstracts us from immediate reality as if we were dreaming what we see
« I deeply believe that contemporary art is autopoietic and draws on its own languages and ways of expressing itself. »
