About this artwork
In this work, I immersed the viewer in a vibrant and somewhat mysterious world, where the vivid colors of Expressionism and Fauvism meet the naive charm and profound symbolism. The black cat, agile and mysterious, evokes adventure and independence, boldly balancing the calm and storm of the surrounding natural elements. This canvas is a celebration of freedom and wild beauty, perfect for energizing a living space with its captivating colors and captivating… energy.
José GARCIA, born in Madrid in 1959, emigrated to France in 1962. Immobilized for three years for health reasons, he developed a unique perspective on the world. Settled in Paris, he secretly explored the capital's museums from the age of 10, nurturing his passion for art. Very early on, he expressed himself through drawing and painting. His encounter with the painter Juan ALCALDE, at the Arts et Métiers and at the Place du Tertre, marked a turning point in his career. Inspired by Picasso, Matisse, and Modigliani, he captured life with spontaneity, drawing his subjects from cafés and public transportation. To refine his craft, he took classes at the Ateliers Terre et Feu. A versatile artist, he also explores music as a songwriter. Today, he invites you to discover his works in a variety of styles.
