In this work, I sought to capture the duality between calm and passion through a vibrant color palette that blends the fire of red and orange with the tranquility of yellow. I used oil and mixed media to give depth to this semi-abstract scene, where elongated, shadowy silhouettes suggest the presence of reflections against a background that evokes an intense sunset. My intention is to convey a sense of mystery and contemplation, inviting the viewer…

My work is based on the transformation of the forgotten and discarded. As an artist based in Valencia, Spain, I have spent decades exploring the boundaries of painting, and in recent years I have discovered a powerful new language in abstract collage. I am drawn to materials with a history: old papers, industrial remnants, fragments of cardboard; each with its own silent narrative. Through a process that balances chance and precision, I integrate these elements into layered compositions, where texture and materiality evoke the geological and the organic.
Sustainability is fundamental to my practice. By rescuing and reusing materials, I seek to raise awareness about our relationship with nature and the everyday objects we often overlook. My collages are not mere visual explorations; they are meditations on memory, transformation, and the beauty found in what others discard.
