About this artwork
These are stainless steel pieces finished in reliefs and with meticulous attention paid to every detail. With them I look for a more relaxed elegance and the balance between discreet charm and the desire to produce an aesthetic impact.
They are pieces forged by hand, with great care, in an idyllic environment, in full connection with steel and art. They are born with the sound of each studied hammer blow, of strength and delicacy, and from there… flow the notes of their apparently wrinkled and open movements.
I am seduced by artisanal and groundbreaking designs, so, with these vertical and wall sculptures, I focus on being part of a new reality, where I look for color, texture and sinuous shapes. Who knew it was steel? These sculptures, with their magically wrinkled appearance, make me revere this very primitive material, since it makes everything possible, without limits to creation or creativity. Even steel can seem light as silk.

« I understand art as a way of transmitting emotions through geometry. »
José Soler is a sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Monaco, Italy, and France. Through each of his pieces, he endeavors to bring out the melody that lives within each of us. Soler cites the conversion of cold steel into sculpture as being his way of connecting with what is invisible to our eyes and what can only perceived with universal feelings.
