About this artwork
Walking by the lake, I found a pine tree that I liked so much that I had to paint it. This work is a representation of that pine tree. The image of a single tree made me think about the individual, the individuality of an artist working in the studio and all of this brought me to the idea of a solitary but great artist Vincent van Gogh. Because of him, I chose the color combination he used the most: yellow and blue.
