La SERIE PAISAJES, es una nueva serie que he transformado, dando un giro a las obras de mis inicios en la pintura paisajista. La zona en la que resido en Olot una pequeña ciudad situada en la comarca de la Garrotxa rodeada de volcanes y de magnificos paisajes rurales.
He creado esta serie dando un toque especial a los paisajes de amapolas de los que me han rodeado durante toda mi vida.
Estos paisajes estan inspirados en el recuerdo de niño cuando… jugavamos en mitad de los campos y te escondias entre las amapolas. Si te sumerges veras una impresionante mar de verdes y ese color rojo tan característico de las amapolas. Este trabajo se realiza con una técnica mixta, collage con el poso del café y con diferentes papeles reciclados sobre una base de tela o madera.

« My restlessness makes me constantly think about my characters. »
Josep Pozo is a Spanish painter who has exhibited his works in numerous solo events nationally. While he says his style isn't singular, but varied, one of the main features in his compositions is the ambiguity of the characters he portrays. Pozo highlights their characteristics and leaves it up to the viewer to create a narrative around their stories. He employs mixed techniques based on acrylics and collage, recycling different materials in order to obtain rich textures.
