Brightness Series. My painting Brightness 1 is not just an array of beautiful, eye catching colours.
Brightness refers to much more - bright intellect, happy spirit, bright light, bright star to lead the way in the darkness, bright sunshine and vibrant colours. I chose the title while I was creating the picture. I enjoyed the process enormously as I developed the composition in transparent layers of bright colours and mused about the meaning of… the title and the positive emotions I felt.
