Josh Sorrell is an award-winning American artist whose paintings have been widely exhibited in the United States. His works explore the concept of identity, questioning whether our identities are of our own making, or if it is beyond our control. Some of Sorrell's pieces depict a single moment that crashes into the subject, while others employ layers and textures to represent the multiple moments that have shaped a person's life. He primarily creates using oils on wood.
