About this artwork
In this work, I evoked passion and energy through rich textures created with charcoal, felt-tip pen, Indian ink and chalk. The expressionist style allows me to translate strong emotions and dynamic movement, inviting everyone to feel a personal connection. The intensity of colors and abstract shapes vibrate the space, bringing a captivating and invigorating presence to your interior.

« I paint as I draw and I draw as I paint »
Josiane Zarka is a painter, draftsman, and sculptor based in France whose works have been widely exhibited nationally. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Le Dauphiné Libéré. Originally inspired by the impressionists, Zarka's current pieces translate the landscape as she moves, in the form of rhythmic musicality, corresponding to the vision she has of that form. Her distinctive compositions are most often created with acrylics and oils on canvas.
