Jouke Schwarz is a full-time musician and painter with international exposure currently based in the Netherlands. His paintings are predominantly focused on creating abstract representations of nature and the interaction or clash between the man-made and natural worlds. His images are particularly informed by his early life in Chile, where he was captivated by the country's stunning landscapes and wildlife. His creations are stunning mosaics of color that question time, space and play with contour and absence.
