About this artwork
Jovanitha painted a series of twelve small classic cars in bright, bold colours. It all began after a visit to Le Mans automotive museum. She was mesmerised by all the bright colours of the racing cars. She decided to paint her favourite classic cars in her favourite colours.
Her work is greatly influenced by pop art masters like Keith Haring or Roy Lichtenstein. She loves how they highlight the beauty of ordinary things with simple lines and bold… colours. Most of all, she enjoys playing with colours and combining them in an unexpected way.
She had a lot of fun creating this fantastic series and hopes that the viewer will have as much joy as she had painting them.
