About this artwork
This object is a play on the Pedestal objects the artist has made previously. While the pedestal objects can be used as a stool or side table, A Friend clearly cannot. The angle of the steel pipe that this object is made from provides non only non functionality, but gives the object a sense of movement and aliveness. hopes someone else may get a little smile on their face and form an affectionate connection with this friend.
