About this artwork
'POW Sculptures 3D & Flowers' is a work on 38x40 cm format screwed on a support painted by the artist of format 50x50 cm integrated into a wooden frame under glass.
The work is of mixed technique as often done by the artist by mixing the urban culture of street art with 3D elements made individually in his own studio and since 2011 he sticks in the streets of Paris, London, Ibiza, Barcelona, Naples and Lisbon.
The background is acrylic… and aerosols, markers and flowers glued and varnish reminding nature in what is more raw as what we could in the city, concrete and cement, material with which the artist realizes these 3D works.
The work is signed POW and JP Malot in the lower right, with the marker, varnish.

« My current influences range from pop art, graphic design, fashion and my travels - from which I bring back posters taken in the streets and eventually integrate them into my work. »
JP Malot’s adolescence was marked by keen interest in Paris’s top graffiti artists. Finding art school too academic, he left to delve instead into set-making, fashion, street and pop art - foregoing high culture for the underground. Mixing techniques and materials including aerosol, collage, stencil, drawings and sculpture, his artistic signature is a stand-out.
