About this artwork
Startrooper Orange is an original work, unique, from a series limited to 30.
Each creation is different because totally handmade at the studio of the artist.
The mixed technique is aerosols, markers, acrylic inks, posca and stencils on a Fabriano type art paper, 70x50 cm format, about 220 grams, white and with fringed edges.
Everything is enhanced with pens, which can be seen by the accumulation of tags * of the artist in the composition.…
* Tags are those with which the artist signed these frescoes and graffiti in the 90s in the wasteland in Paris and have since been used as elements of composition in many funds of his creations.
Each unique work of this series is numbered and, is signed lower right at the marker.
This one is delivered with its certificate of authenticity signed by the artist and the gallery.

« My current influences range from pop art, graphic design, fashion and my travels - from which I bring back posters taken in the streets and eventually integrate them into my work. »
JP Malot’s adolescence was marked by keen interest in Paris’s top graffiti artists. Finding art school too academic, he left to delve instead into set-making, fashion, street and pop art - foregoing high culture for the underground. Mixing techniques and materials including aerosol, collage, stencil, drawings and sculpture, his artistic signature is a stand-out.
