These drawings were made on the occasion of the premiere and performance of the opera El Mozo de Mulas, at the Forum Evolución in Burgos in November 2017. This opera was performed by the Burgos Symphony Orchestra
The drawings represent several scenes… from this opera with some fragments of the texts
This opera was composed by Antonio José in the 1930s, close to his tragic death.
Each drawing is presented framed with a simple 2 cm wooden frame. of singing
It is sent together with the double CD of the opera

Juan Angel Saiz Manrique is a painter and sculptor based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Poland, the United States, and Italy. He describes the themes presented in his art as being varied and generally presented in series, they include metropolis, bulls, stone eyes, etc. However, figurative or realistic elements executed in an agile and expressive manner are ever-present.
