About this artwork
In this work, on one side of the composition, a solitary concrete post emerges firmly, witness to the inexorable passage of time. Around it, a blue iron railing, now discolored by the relentless advance of rust, clings melancholy to the brink of decay. The rust, like an invasive vine, slides with deadly elegance down the concrete post, weaving a narrative of corrosion and abandonment. Every drop that falls is an echo of time. On the other side of… the railing, the sea extends in its grandeur, caressing the coast with its impetuous waves. Under a grayish sky, devoid of the warm caress of the sun, the atmosphere is permeated with a serene melancholy. Cool tones dominate the palette, reflecting the quiet sadness that hangs over the scene. The rocks, covered in moss and algae, rise proudly above sea level, silent witnesses to countless ancient stories and secrets.
