About this artwork
Objects in Red II is a study of shades of red arranged in a nature where a vertical composition broken by two stripes where different objects in red are deposited is presented.
With the intention of offering a saturation of this color, the painter has backgrounds in a neutral tone such as gray for the upper area and a black based on glazes for the lower area of the painting.
A larger area where it only puts a pen with a red cap. This is presented… as something daring and anecdotal since the pen seems to be suspended in space but it is not so since it is painted attached with a strip of cellophane giving the impression of trompe l'oeil. The elements in red placed in the upper area of the work are diverse and there is no connection between them, they are simply exposed to offer a composition in accordance with what the painter intended.
