"Soul" (diptych) is a work composed of two small-format pieces on paper (32 x 61 cm total), executed in mixed media. The composition is articulated on a sober and balanced gray background, where a series of subtle stains create an atmosphere of contemplation and visual rhythm. The artist combines collage and painting with great sensitivity, generating a rich interaction between materials and textures. In "Soul 1" and "Soul 2," a strongly present… red paper becomes an axis of contrast and tension, crossed by a black line that seems to link both panels, providing movement and unity. The use of off-white paper, dotted with organic stains, adds depth and luminosity, enriching the interpretation of the work. This piece invites introspection, appealing to the essence of the soul through an abstract and subtly gestural expression. The duality of the diptych reinforces the dialogue between contrast and harmony, matter and emptiness.
