About this artwork
For a couple of years I have been working on the project of creating trees that are physically and spiritually linked to the places and people that I discover through my trips around the world. When I paint trees I am painting the feelings and moments that people and places offer me. This Work, along with others from the same series, was awarded the prize for the best work of art at the L'Ordino Jardins D'Art Biennial 2017

Juan Manuel Gonzalez is a painter and draftsman based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally as well as in Spain and Andorra. Inspired by his travels and the people he observes and meets, he imagines himself as a filter of his experiences, which he translates into his art. In his artistic process, Gonzalez combines the style of the artistic avant-garde of the 20th century with contemporary forms of representation, including the colors of computers or cinematographic narratives.
