There, three figures represent the three stages of a woman's life: childhood, maturity, and old age. The figures stand before the temple and display different attitudes. Juan Miguel Restrepo Valdés, a Colombian painter, draftsman, and engraver, combines his training in architecture and art from Colombia, Germany, and Austria. He masters symbolism, experimenting with techniques from the great masters and fusing European influences with South American magical realism, while also incorporating elements of surrealism and the baroque. His work, inspired by mythology and religion, introduces the mysterious and enigmatic into everyday life.
