Winter is from the Hollow Flower series, which touches on the very moment where the Flor Del Sol's life cycle is on its last breath, as it begins to disintegrate into and becomes the Particles...This piece has many textured layers, using silicone for relief, giving it almost an ancient, fossil-like feel. If you look closely, one can find a silhouette of a flower, with a hollow flower head.
One can only think of a purpose not yet met, where the… Flower still wasn't able to bring humanity to the understanding of that special love for all, yet the hope is never lost, as it becomes reborn over and over, until its purpose is fully met and humanity becomes a benevolent being. JuanCarlos rLora is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited nationally. Almost all of his works communicate surreal narratives as well as philosophical and scientific theories. It is rLora’s core belief that the impossible is, in fact, possible and that love can truly save us all. Working in series and installations, he uses mixed techniques and mediums to tell a story.
