Jud Bergeron is a highly acclaimed sculptor from the United States. Bergeron trained classically at The Old Lyme Academy of Fine Art in Connecticut where he focused primarily on figurative sculpture. His initial work was made almost exclusively with bronze until he relocated to New York in 2006 and felt inspired to develop his oeuvre by integrating new materials. In his current practice, Bergeron's sculptures are loose, direct and raw geometric pieces that incorporate architectural elements. His work has been featured in both group and solo exhibitions in New York, San Francisco, Miami, Lyon, Copenhagen, Venice and elsewhere.
