About this artwork
Part of a series of Goddess Flowers created for my exhibition ‘Vortex of the Huetopia’ in New York.
Inspired by the idea of a magical, mythological garden with flowers for each goddess.
Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and passion.
This is a hand-made sculpture encrusted with different varieties of glass and a smattering of 24 carat gold. The beaded stamens can be twisted around a finger or pen as desired.
Aphrodite is… published in my book ‘Sculptural Secrets for Mosaic’ (Schiffer Publishing USA). It will be sent in a custom plywood box with a signed copy of the book plus a certificate of authenticity and a certificate of registration on the NRAA (National Registry of Australian Artists).

Beyond the Expected
I create structural walI-based works that transform the picture plane into tactile, spatial forms. Neither painting nor sculpture alone, they respond to changing light, revealing shifting rhythms that enrich the experience of a space

Her work is held in private and permanent collections internationally, including Hotel Capella (Sydney), Hotel Conrad Orchard (Singapore), and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (Chicago, USA).
She has also been recognised as a finalist in several prestigious Australian art prizes.
Through an investigative approach, her practice contributes to ongoing discourse around material transformation and the evolving boundaries of contemporary art.
