Jules Pascin, born in Bulgaria and later an American citizen, worked primarily with painting and drawing, having studied in Vienna and Munich before joining the vibrant art scene of Montparnasse, Paris. She employed loose, fluid lines and a delicate use of color, often portraying women in intimate, relaxed poses with a hint of sensuality and vulnerability. Her artworks evoke a poignant mix of tenderness, melancholy, and the fleeting beauty of everyday moments.
