About this artwork
“Graceful Strength”, 16x20, oil on archival wood panel. In the midst of Colorado snow and cold, where the artist lives, she was drawn to the water once again. Water has been the subject of numerous of her paintings, and painting the ocean gave her a chance to explore translucency, light, shadows and gorgeous blues and emerald greens., besides getting out of the cold, if only on canvas.
