About this artwork
Ms. Bright's work is always about the movement of light through canvas. She was fascinated by the way light bounced off the brass bowl, and reflected in the transparent turqoise vase, playing with the pinks and oranges of the fruit. The viewer's eye moves through the painting following the play of light, as if led by an invisible hand, and discovering new elements each time he/she looks at the canvas.
