About this artwork
“In Those Distant Days” is a large ethereal abstract seascape sunset oil painting 70cm x 100cm (27.5 x 39.5 inches) on 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas.
It’s inspired by Spring Hastings sunsets. The title is from “Nether” by Johnny Flynn and Robert Macfarlane.
It's painted in shades of blue and grey with pink, orange yellow and white. The paint has a satin sheen and is textured in parts.
The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and it is… signed on the back. It is ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note the in situ images are not to scale but hopefully they give a good idea of how the painting will look in a modern interior.

« I am a contemporary painter of vivid abstract seascapes influenced by the British coastline. Music is integral to my work and my paintings are always named from song titles & lyrics. »
Julia Everett is a talented British artist who has shown her work across the UK. Inspired by nature and music - particularly the land and sea, she seeks always to question what is beyond the horizon, in every sense of the symbol. Her paintings are colourful, thoughtful and marked by polished minimalism.
