About this artwork
True love needs no loud words – it shines through the layers we have carefully woven around our hearts. The two bodies on the canvas represent the duality of our emotions. One body represents our outer self – what we present to the world, our attitude and our presence. The second body, woven in layers of pink, orange, and purple, is our inner self.
It depicts that feeling when you love someone so much that your inner self begins to glow, yet you… sometimes protect or hold it back from the outside. The layers symbolize that love cannot always be shown immediately; it grows and glows in secret before breaking through to the surface.
