About this artwork
I didn’t really meet him — I saw him.
In a museum in Florence, among sculptures and silence.
A young man, almost too beautiful for the present.
His face reminded me of ancient gods, yet his expression was fragile, quiet — almost human.
No posing, no arrogance — just that gaze, as if he knew more than his youth should reveal.
I couldn’t help myself — I wanted to capture him.
Not as a photograph.
As a feeling.
