Julia Maurer is an artist based in Austria whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Switzerland, Germany, and Hungary. Through her art, she explores connections, transgressions, disappearances, mergings, and ambiguities. Maurer describes her artistic process as experimental and often a bit anarchic. She creates in many layers, painting, and then scratching and washing off, then painting again.
