Julia Ptl
Russia
« The image of animals acts as a visual-figurative recreation of human life. Flora and fauna are a source of inspiration to me. »
Julia Ptl is an artist based in Russia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. She describes her works as being the synthesis of transformed animalism and a figurative fantasy world. Ptl's artistic practice is research-intensive, as her compositions are inspired by "the amazing facts about living creatures and plants". She most often creates with oils and acrylics, employing a combination of brushes and palette knives.
