About this artwork
We had the best day ever at Westonbirt Arboretum. I think I could have spent my whole life in there. So many trees, so much space, so much colour. It took me a little while to enjoy it without worrying that it was all going to disappear but once I did it was a visual feast.
As well as the colour there were the smells to enjoy...the Katsura tree giving off the most delicious burnt sugar smell - wafting through the air like the aroma of a toffee apple… stall. Every twist and turn in the paths revealed another breath taking vista with endless view and coloured layers to be enjoyed from under, behind and in amongst the trees. Glorious!
