About this artwork
This beautiful painting carries an incredibly strong energy — the very energy a butterfly needs to break free from its cocoon. At first, the image was pure fire, dominated by red and orange tones. Because I work in layers, processes can unfold over months — as they did with this piece. It took five months for the image to finally be born.
After the fire, a black stallion emerged — rearing, resisting, fighting. Toward the end, the energy within the… image shifted and turned inward, focusing on inner strength, until the butterfly ultimately emerged.
This painting radiates the frequency of pure remembrance of our own inner strength. Looking at this image will activate something very ancient within the viewer - it is the knowledge of our ability to change and transform our reality - it is the knowledge and remembrance of our true power.
