Julius Quast is an award-winning painter and draftsman who resides in Germany. Quast has exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Spain and Italy. After a serious illness, he gave up his commercial and professional career in order to focus solely on art. Ancient petroglyphs, as well as works by Klee and Basquiat, regularly inspire his pieces. Quast uses the mediums of watercolor, pastel, and acrylic, to name a few, when creating.
