I am an abstract painter based in Berlin, working with layers of washi tape, torn edges, and quiet color fields. My practice explores the space between silence and expression — a place where inner emotion and outer reality begin to resonate.
Through layered surfaces and subtle shifts of texture, I create compositions that feel like vibrations held in stillness. Each work carries a quiet energy, inviting the viewer into a moment of pause — a lightness in the chest that cannot be fully explained.
My approach is rooted in years of working with paper, collage, and the physical act of layering. Before moving to Berlin, I was the first Japanese resident artist at Kunsthaus Tacheles, an experience that shaped my understanding of art as dialogue and shared space.
Every painting is an attempt to create such a space — a place where something unnamed can be felt.
