When I look into her eyes, I tell myself that she must grasp things that I do not grasp... In my moments of confusion or sadness, I contemplate her. She teaches me to see life differently, simply, like her. And if I were a cat, what would I do now? Probably, I would lie down, quietly, to let myself be caressed by the rays of the sun.
When my heart is heavy, she comes to snuggle up against me, and her purrs calm my thoughts. She is part of my life,… just as I am part of hers. Our paths crossed as if it were written. Animals are there to show us another vision of the world, a different look and yet just as true as ours.
