About this artwork
I have always been fascinated by Asian culture, oriental art is an art in itself with its paintings and works of small and large format.
That exquisite way they have of transmitting emotions in a subtle way from past lives.
Samurais, geishas, armor loaded with gold and sophisticated show us a perfect harmony between the subtle and the dense, which manages to transport the observer to the observed, as if it were a deep meditation.
In this new series… of works I want to take the viewer to another dimension located in another time where memories of past lives invade us with a feeling of peace and serenity and gratitude.
Intense blues, reds, greens and golds decorating a raw-colored canvas, a broken white almost touching ivory.
Making this painting a great opportunity to rediscover oneself.
« The organic elements are essential because they show us, as in a fairy tale, the link between the subconscious mind and the real world. »
Karenina Fabrizzi is an Italian artist based in Barcelona, Spain. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections worldwide, including PULSE Miami, Art on Paper New York, Hermitage Hotel, Cheval Gloucester Park, DAWN – Royal Grand Suites, Le Méridien, Leevan Art Oriental, and Maison et Objet Paris.
Her artistic vision explores the deep connection between the human soul and nature. Through her paintings, she reflects on the layers of emotion, memory, and organic forms that shape our inner world. Inspired by animals, plants, and natural cycles, her work reveals the subtle links that connect all living things.
Fabrizzi's compositions invite a moment of stillness, encouraging the viewer to reconnect with nature, their inner self, and a quiet sense of harmony.
