Medium: Acrylic, relief structure, gilding with 24 carat gold leaf
This LIGHT FIGURE embodies the strength, elegance and harmony of the asana Virabhadrasana, also known as the peaceful warrior. The intense color composition of deep blue and green draws the viewer into a world of inner peace and strength. It is reminiscent of the endless expanse of the ocean and the constancy of the sky - symbols of steadfastness and serenity.
The 24-carat gold… plating runs through the painting like a luminous band of universal energy. The golden lines and surfaces emphasize the spiritual dimension of the warrior and give the work its aura. With the gold plating, I remind the viewer of the inner light that is awakened through yoga. This valuable structure guides the viewer's eyes through the powerful, dynamic structure of the work.
In the abstracted form of the warrior I let movement and stillness merge together. It is as if the moment was frozen.

My work explores the tension between identity, body, concealment, and transformation.
I don't understand painting as a representation, but as a space for inner movement. As a place where that which cannot be captured becomes visible.
I work in series that develop organically during the process, not from pre-existing concepts. Material plays a central role: acrylic, texture, gold leaf, platinum, and mixed media are not merely decorative elements, but carriers of meaning.
Concealment is not a retreat. It is a deliberate act. It creates distance, protection, and a new way of reading.
Faces and bodies do not appear as surfaces for identification, but rather as spaces for projection. I understand identity not as a state, but as a process, characterized by the tension between visibility and withdrawal.
