About this artwork
This artwork brings together two ideas – love and oysters – to show how something rough and hidden can become beautiful and precious. Just like an oyster creates a pearl from a small grain of sand, love can turn challenges and imperfections into something meaningful and strong.
The letters of “LOVE” are shaped like oyster shells, with warm colors and golden edges. They stand for the different pieces of love – sometimes rough, sometimes fragile,… but always valuable when they come together.
The pink paint dripping from the top shows the passion and deep feelings that come with love, while the textured background gives the work a natural, grounded feeling.
