About this artwork
In crafting this installation, I worked with structural paint, epoxy, and natural oyster shells to forge sculptures that challenge the traditional perceptions of natural beauty of oyster and decay. Each piece, vividly colored and uniquely textured, is a play on the transience of nature, encapsulated in a modern, ready-made style. Presenting these works in a structured, wall-object format, I invite viewers to reflect on preservation, transformation,…
and the interplay of artificiality versus natural essence. This installation embodies a dynamic energy, invoking contemplation and aesthetic appreciation in any space it inhabits.
