About this artwork
This work is an abstract expression of dancing with dressed in colorful traditional clothes. The common theme of this work is "color".
I focused on the combination of color tones, color division, combination and division of similar colors, combination and division of
complementary colors and creation of new colors rather than previously defined colors. Eventually, it is harmonized and expressed on the canvas with various colors. Another feature… is that the plaster was mixed with acrylic paint to create colors and by using it,
it showed a three-dimensional effect with deep colors.

Karis Kim is a South Korean artist whose works have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally, as well as in France and Slovenia. A poet and writer, Kim illustrated his book on philosophy and psychology, with this experience also making him an artist. The central theme in his varied compositions relates to the meaning of life and the preciousness of nature. His Western and Oriental styles are created through acrylics, ink, watercolors on canvas or traditional handmade paper.
